Forever Morgans Rescue, Inc. is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)3 rescue organization that strives to help Morgan horses in immediate need and places them in adoptive or foster homes. Horses come from broker lots, auctions, neglect and abuse situations, and owner surrender. We always need foster and adoptive homes, donations, and volunteers. Please join us!

All donations to Forever Morgans are tax deductible as allowed by law.

Each horse is adopted with a contract to ensure they do not end up at auction again. Many of these rescued Morgans have gone on to be show horses, family riding and driving horses and for therapeutic handicap riding.

Please consider fostering or adopting. The horses are not truly safe until they are home!

I just wanted to share my beautiful foster gelding, Alex, with y'all. I was nervous when I first volunteered to take this beautiful boy under my wing. He arrived late October and he blew away my expectations. I was told he rides and drives; I haven't driven him as I'm pretty clueless in that field. He's been ridden once since he's been here. He did so amazing. Even though he was a bit unsure, he did everything he was asked. Including some leg yielding! He is one of the sweetest horses I've met. We even did some work in the run-in with some VERY loud power tools, and he just stood next to us like "Hey, whatíre you guys up to?". He didnít show the slightest bit of fear. He picks up all four feet, wears a blanket and is easy to catch once he gets to know you! Most importantly, he was there for me when my Morgan mare of 8 years passed away a couple weeks ago. He's a superstar and he will make someone a very lovely horse. As much as I hate to see him leave one day, I know that I helped him through a tough time and he will forever be grateful.

Alex is really nice horse. He was a little nervous when we saddled him. Alex rides direct rain and listens to all cues and is sound. The evaluator described the horse to be easy to ride could be for a child that knows how to ride well. He also picked up all four feet.
