Forever Morgans Rescue, Inc. is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)3 rescue organization that strives to help Morgan horses in immediate need and places them in adoptive or foster homes. Horses come from broker lots, auctions, neglect and abuse situations, and owner surrender. We always need foster and adoptive homes, donations, and volunteers. Please join us!

All donations to Forever Morgans are tax deductible as allowed by law.

Each horse is adopted with a contract to ensure they do not end up at auction again. Many of these rescued Morgans have gone on to be show horses, family riding and driving horses and for therapeutic handicap riding.

Please consider fostering or adopting. The horses are not truly safe until they are home!

Here is a mare that will fill your heart with joy every day when you watch her in your pasture! Rum Brook Immortal Ariel is a double Waseeka's In Command granddaughter and a daughter of Immortal Command. She is a stunning black mare who has that 'look at me' presence. She is not a deadhead by any means, but is a very sweet mare who is the first one to greet you in the pasture. She is in a herd of broodmares and gets along well with them, but since she is at the bottom of the rung, care must be taken to be sure she gets her share of feed. Ariel was ridden when quite young but then was used only as a broodmare for several years. She was purchased by her previous owner to be a broodmare, and at the time of purchase she was thought to be in foal. However, that was not the case, and several successive breeding attempts indicated that Ariel is no longer breeding sound. When she is kept in a stall too long, she appears to be a little off in the hind end, which may be a result of arthritis, but other than that she is very healthy. An adopter may wish to have her evaluated by a vet to determine if she is suitable for riding. If she is, she would need a riding refresher by an experienced rider or a trainer. Ariel behaves very well for the vet and farrier, is easy to catch, lead and handle. Her one fault is that she will pull back if tied snugly. Her previous owner just leaves the lead rope hanging over the rail and Ariel stands quietly. This is a very special mare who is looking for someone who will love and appreciate her that lucky person could be YOU!
